Aston Kaanapali Shores

There are fees for the resort and parking which I didn't know of at first. Also they charge you for cleaning your room during your stay. There is work around so we ask for a broom and cleaning supplies just to keep the extra charges down. Overall the kitchen condo was perfect. And the pools are so nice. It's right on the water and the peach is family friendly. The staff is always very nice and willing to bring us stuff throughout the week when we needed extra towels or coffee. It was a great vacation and we enjoyed staying at the kaanapali shores.

We enjoyed a 14 day stay here in a two bedroom apartment. Enjoyed a room with ocean views which also overlooks the main pool. Washer and dryer are a big plus along with a kitchen to enjoy breakfast and cut down on some of the expenses. No usable beach, you need to walk down a bit to a small section that has a beach.

Nothing negative here, this is our third stay and we'll be back. The interior pool is great for kids and then the water front pool is quieter with the bar and food service. It's also not a super busy resort, or at least in mid Feb when we come.

Large resort-style hotel with multiple pools & shops. The resort borders the beach which has a beautiful sunset! The room felt spacious and open. The decor is dated, however this was not a bother as everything was clean and in good working order. With garden view be aware the birds outside will announce the sunrise and sunset..

We had a wonderful stay! Rooms were clean and well maintained. The kids LOVED both pools as well as the beach. We were able to see whales from the beach on multiple occasions! Great location with restaurants, shops and a grocery store VERY close! Will definitely stay again!

Great location with onsite restaurant, grocery store and restaurant in walking distance and two pools. We had one room which felt like the landlord special (IYKYK) and then moved to another room which felt much better and maintained. Rooms are spacious and views are amazing. Beware of the corners on beds, tables, etc (pic for reference). Staff were friendly and helpful. Whoever is doing the cleaning gets 5 stars!!

Highly recommend this Hotel, more like a resort vibe. It is suitable for family, couples and big groups. Our room was on the 4th floor, we could see the ocean from the balcony. We had kitchenette, it has coffee machine, toaster, pots and pans, some condiments but you will need to buy coffee filters. Unit has washer and dryer. There is a grocery store, right across the street, it could be pricey but they have everything you will need. Amazing sunset, the beach is right there, there are 2 pools of a great size. You can refill your water from the refill station. You do not get housekeeping, which we liked because no one will disturb you, but if you do require one, there is a fee. Parking is $10, which was so much better than paying $55 in Waikiki. Checking in and checking out was quick. Sometimes the door could shut loudly and might disturb you as your neighbor's door faces right in front of you. On our last day we ate the breakfast at the property, the service was slow but the food was great. Surprisingly, we did not get a single mosquito bite, nor did we see any lizards, cockroaches, or flies. I was so surprised because there are plenty of those in Costa Rica and Mexico. Very well maintained resort and we were very impressed with the property.

I just got back from a 10-day stay there. I purchased my trip package through Costco (I highly recommend!). I had booked a standard room with a king bed, and I didn't request an ocean view or anything extra like that. What I got was a VERY nice suite on the second floor with a full kitchen (granite countertop and tile floor), a nice dining table and chairs, a bedroom separated from the living room, a washer & dryer tucked away in a closet, and oh yeah, an ocean view off the lanai and outside the bedroom window! The suite didn't feel dated at all and it was very clean. The grounds are amazing! Two separate pool areas - one best for children and one best for adults, lounge chairs everywhere, beautifully maintained tropical landscaping, and just lots of space! The restaurant/bar (The Beach Club) was also great. I had breakfast there almost every morning, and I also had lunch and dinner there a few times. Every meal I had was great, but most of all, the staff there are phenomenal!! Everyone was very friendly, and food was served quickly (depending on the number of customers). I cannot say enough good things about my stay, and I would go back there in a second!!
